The Bobby Jack collection I received was beautiful. The only problem was that the fitted sheet did not fit the queen bed. It would, however, fit a full. The fitted sheet was a full size and the rest of the set was for a queen size. I have returned the full size fitted sheet. I have not received the queen size fitted sheet as of 01 Jan 2011. I do, however, see that it has been sent out on 27 DEC but unable to be tracked?

like most of the other reviewers, i liked this pan, and madeleines are super easy to make. the pan itself is fairly nonstick, and lightweight. i didn't try the recipe on the packaging, but in using the recipe i found on the epicurious website, i also felt the need to reduce the bake time. i think this is mainly the result of the pan being really dark.

the picture make it look gray, but it's more black in color. as with other nonstick dark pans, i've found the need to reduce the baking time. otherwise, great product, can't complain. and if you make these in volume, i'd invest in two of them.

This pan did a OK job. It's made in China instead of made in Germany as Amazon describes. The recipe that came with it is not very accurate (only in metric measurements). My first batch of Madeleines turned out too brown on the bottom, very white on the top.

Also note it's NOT dishwasher-safe. You have to wash it by hand.

The product is great. Makes good madeleines and is non-stick as promised. It is a Kaiser (German) product but was indeed made in China (bit misleading).
However, the recipe that came with the mold is not as good as other recipes you can find elsewhere. For instance, it doesn't mention to include vanilla extract or to use melted & cooled butter. I suggest that you find your own recipe.

I have not had any of the negative experiences expressed regarding this clock. We have had the clock for about a year. All the colors are distinct. Some are brighter than others...which I like. My daughter uses it in place of a nightlight, but when I want a darker room for baby brother to sleep, I just press the top for a color not so bright. Now my eldest son wants the same clock. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

I bought this item because we have the larger tongs and they work beautifully! It's very handy to be able to open them with a gentle squeeze without putting down the plate in your other hand, for example. But for some reason, these 9" tongs don't reliably stay closed. I actually returned the first pair I received and got a replacement (super fast, thank you Amazon) but this second pair will also surprise you occasionally by springing open unexpectedly. That can send the salad flying! Otherwise, they're quite attractive: good design and nice finish.
